The Underdogs is the nonprofit heart of Dog Heaven, created to strengthen the sacred bond between humans and animals—especially in moments of crisis. We believe healing happens in relationship: with animals, with nature, with community, and with the Divine.

Through innovative programs and the creation of Underdog Villages, we provide safety, purpose, and a path forward for people in crisis while giving “unadoptable,” senior, or hospice animals the forever homes they deserve.
